Tiffin is located southwest of North Liberty and is growing! The estimated population is hovering around 2,400 residents which is up from 1,947 in the 2000 US Census. Their motto, ""Crossroads of the Heartland"" speaks to the town's location which spreads over the area where Interstate 380 and Interstate 80 intersect, making it extremely accessible. Tiffin is just three miles from Kent Park which was voted Iowa's Best Place to Camp in a recent public poll ran by the Press Citizen. This park has a 27-acre lake. Named after Tiffin, Ohio, the former home of Rolla Johnson, who owned the land Tiffin was settled on.
